Reno lambastes Congress over gun

Thursday May 11 by Claudia bournecnn
Attorney General Janet Reno on Thursday blasted Congress for its failure to pass gun control legislation, and praised organizers of the "Million Mom March" who were gathered on the National Mall to promote Sunday's nationwide event calling for stricter gun laws. "The (Senate) bill has languished in conference for nine months while over 20,000 people have been killed by gunfire in America. That's just simply plain, outrageously wrong," Reno said.
